Refund Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for payments made to Bardiyah, including subscriptions and one-time purchases. By subscribing to or purchasing any paid plan, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.
Billing and Payment Providers
Paid plans are billed through our authorized payment providers, and which provider applies depends on where you subscribed. Subscriptions bought on our website are billed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for card payments; we also accept PayPal and, where available, manual bank or wallet transfer. Subscriptions bought inside our iOS app are billed by Apple through the App Store.
The provider used for your purchase may affect how a refund is issued and how long it takes to appear.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing cycle you selected (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
- Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed. Website subscriptions are cancelled from your billing page. App Store subscriptions are cancelled on your Apple device under Settings → your name → Subscriptions, and we cannot cancel one on your behalf.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- When you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
Subscriptions Bought Through the App Store
If you subscribed inside our iOS app, Apple is the seller of record for that purchase and handles both billing and refunds for it.
- Refund requests must be made to Apple, not to us, through reportaproblem.apple.com or on your device under Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → Purchase History.
- Apple decides those requests under its own refund policy. The eligibility windows, non-refundable situations, and processing times described elsewhere in this policy apply to website purchases and do not govern Apple’s decision.
- We cannot issue, approve, or reverse a refund for an App Store purchase, and we cannot see the status of a request you have made to Apple.
- If Apple declines a request that you believe was a duplicate or accidental charge, contact us anyway. We cannot refund the payment, but we can confirm what your account was charged for and correct your plan if something is wrong on our side.
Eligibility for a Refund
You may request a refund in the following cases:
- First-time purchase: within 14 days of your first subscription payment, provided the service has not been substantially used.
- Duplicate or accidental charge: if you were billed more than once for the same plan or charged in error.
- Service failure: if a technical problem on our side prevented you from accessing the paid features and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
- Renewal payments after the first billing cycle, where you had the opportunity to cancel before renewal.
- Partial or unused portions of a billing period after the eligibility window has passed.
- Lifetime purchases that have already been substantially used.
- Requests made solely because you forgot to cancel before a renewal date.
We may still consider these cases at our discretion.
How to Request a Refund
This section applies to purchases made on our website. For purchases made through the App Store, see the section above.
To request a refund, contact us through the website contact form or the support channel provided by the service, and include:
- the email address associated with your account,
- the plan and billing cycle you purchased,
- the payment method used (card, PayPal, or transfer),
- the reason for your request.
Processing Time
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Card refunds processed through Paddle typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- PayPal refunds usually appear within a few business days.
- Manual transfer refunds are returned to the account you transferred from and may take longer to coordinate.
Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can help. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes take effect once published on this page, and the "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly.
